Incoterms

Incoterms

Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) are a set of rules that are valid worldwide for the national and international trade in goods. These rules form an integral part of the international transport order. Essentially they state the time and place at which liability for any consequential costs and risk passes from the seller to the buyer, which party is responsible for the export of the goods, and who has to assume the freight costs or pay for transport insurance.
